Effective September 25, 2026, for the version of the app from Google Play.
Notiza is an app for personal notes. Your notes, tags, groups and notebooks are stored on your device. The app needs no account, shows no ads and does not upload your notes to the cloud.
The app does not send the developer error reports, information about your device or any other data. If your device shares diagnostic data with Google, Google may receive information about app crashes under its own privacy policy.
When you turn it on, the app lets a browser open your notes over a Wi-Fi network you have allowed. You approve each new browser once, on the phone.
An approved browser receives your notes to view and edit them. Notiza does not keep them in the browser’s persistent storage. The browser keeps your interface settings and a service cookie that lets the app recognize a browser it has already approved. The connection is not encrypted, so turn Web access on only on a network you trust.
When you ask the app to fill in a note from a link, the phone downloads that web page and uses it to fill in the note’s empty fields. The request goes to the site the link points to. The contents of your note are not sent to the Notiza developer.
Pro is not sold in this version: the app makes no payments and does not contact any payment service.
When you delete the app from your device, its data is deleted too. Copies of notes that you have saved elsewhere stay where they are.
